Installation essentials

Designed for a fast, clean cast-in install

Cast-in. Fixed to the formwork, with the aid of the locator plate, which also blocks slurry. Sits flush with the underside of the slab.
Collar height. 250mm as standard. Trim the top to slab level on site if needed, or stack 50mm extensions for slabs thicker than 250mm.
Manifolds (H110S). Where a manifold sits on the slab, the H110S can be recessed using the approved Manifold Recess Former.
Built for the site. Snap-off points make striking formwork easy. The removable cap withstands heavy site traffic, and the bright casing is easy to spot on a busy deck.

How it works

How a Sure Snap collar seals a penetration

Where a plastic pipe passes through a fire-rated floor, it becomes an opening in an otherwise sealed element. In a fire, the pipe melts and burns away, leaving an open hole for flame and smoke to spread between floors.

A Sure Snap collar closes that hole and restores the floor’s fire resistance where the pipe passes through it. Because smoke, not flame, causes most high-rise fire deaths, sealing the opening fast is what counts. Sure Snap is built to stop both.
