Recesses a Sure Snap cast-in fire collar into the slab so a pipe manifold can sit above it, reducing pipework head height. Part of the collar’s certified system: collars may only be recessed using the approved Manifold Recess Former.

Manifold Recess Former

What it is and when to use it

Recesses the collar into the slab. Forms a recess so the collar sits below slab level.
Supports a manifold. Lets a pipe manifold sit on the slab above the collar, cutting head height.
The only approved way to recess a collar. Collars must not be recessed except using the Manifold Recess Former.
Cast in before the pour. Positioned with the collar as part of the cast-in assembly.
